About Us

BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp. (AYBC) was established in 2012 by BTC Bank employees who wanted to make a bigger impact on the lives of local youth. Their vision was to expand BTC Bank’s ability to support youth initiatives beyond the constraints of traditional community banking contributions. Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2013, AYBC provides financial support for programs, activities, and opportunities that help young people gain the experiences and skills they need to grow, lead, and contribute to their communities.

AYBC has contributed over $400,000 to youth in Missouri and Southern Iowa. These funds have supported a variety of initiatives, including educational programs, civic and school sports, scholarships, community activities, and leadership training.

While BTC Bank covers all operational and event costs for the nonprofit, AYBC relies on sponsorships and support from businesses, individuals, and community stakeholders to amplify its reach and effectiveness. By serving as a trusted resource for youth-focused giving, AYBC simplifies the donation process, ensuring funds are pooled, strategically allocated, and maximized for meaningful impact.

Through fundraising events like the annual Golf Tournament, Tractor Cruise, and Color Fun Run, along with employee contributions through the Funding Futures campaign, AYBC brings the community together to invest in our youth. Every dollar raised goes directly back into our communities, ensuring long-term support for youth initiatives and building strong foundations for future community leaders.

At its core, AYBC believes that by investing in today’s youth, we are planting the seeds for a stronger tomorrow. Our hope is that these young individuals, equipped with experience, confidence, and a sense of belonging, will return to their hometowns as adults, ready to give back to the communities that supported them and continue the cycle of growth for generations to come.
