As a nonprofit, BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp.’s (BTC AYBC) mission is to provide financial support for programs, activities, and opportunities that help young people grow into strong, engaged community leaders.

The Charitable Contributions Policy ensures that all BTC AYBC funding initiatives are coordinated and aligned with our organizational values, maximize opportunity for organization visibility, foster long-term community relationships, and are within our budget and resource limitations. All expenditures for contributions will be handled accordingly below.

The following guidelines will be used in reviewing requests for funding:

  • Incoming requests for funding must be submitted online to the BTC AYBC board for research, review, and final disposition. The board will communicate directly with the requestor regarding all requests and coordinate any follow up documentation, and/or collateral activities such as logos, banners, etc.
  • Funding is limited to individual youth, youth programs, youth organizations, youth activities, or schools.
  • Priority is given to experiences that develop leadership skills.
  • All contributions will promote our organizational goals, create positive visibility, and demonstrate social responsibility.
  • All requests will be managed in a secured online program by the Executive Director and reviewed with formal recommendation by the BTC AYBC seven member board.
  • Grant requests that do not meet AYBC criteria will be forwarded to the appropriate branch for consideration.
